Data/Field Work
Midwest, USA (2022-2023, in progress)
A survey will be distributed to around 1,350 farmers living in five Midwest states (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) to
explore how farmers responded to short-run labor supply shocks during Covid-19 and understand whether farmers’ adaptation to recent labor shortages mitigated the effect of Covid-19 on agricultural production.
Vietnam (2018)
Data collection of a random sample of 800 rice growing households living in seven provinces in the Mekong River Delta (Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre, and Tien Giang) to examine the factors associated with farmers' adoption of salt-tolerant rice varieties.
